Kitsunedo League Series Format
Last updated: 05/03/2026

There are two Kitsunedo League seasons each year, with the first running from February to June and the second from July to November.
Each season contains four Qualifiers, with one in each of the first four months of the season, and a Season Finale, held in the final month.
Dates for upcoming events can be found at https://www.kitsunedo.com.au/upcoming-events.

Ruleset
Kitsunedo League events use the standard Kitsunedo Tournament ruleset.

The organisers may adjust the ruleset to test possible future rule changes. If a test ruleset will be used, notice will be provided prior to the event.

Event Structure
Kitsunedo League events will consist of four round-robin rounds, and one finals match.

Entry Fee
Kitsunedo League events have a $20 entry fee, which is split across two pots:
-
$15 goes to the Event Pot
-
$5 goes to the Season Pot

New Player offer
The New Player offer is an optional offer available to any player who has not yet participated in a Kitsunedo League event.
If a player uses the New Player offer, their entry cost is waived, but they cannot qualify for the finals at that event. The event still counts towards their number of attended events to qualify for the Season Pot.

Prizes
Qualifiers
The winner of a Qualifier Finals receives 100% of the Event Pot.

Season Finale
To qualify for the Season Pot, a player must have participated in at least three of the four Qualifiers.
At the end of the Season Finale, the Season Pot will be divided as follows:
-
1st place in Event Finals: 55%
-
1st ranked by Placement Points: 20%
-
2nd ranked by Placement Points: 15%
-
3rd ranked by Placement Points: 10%
If a player places in one of the above positions but doesn’t qualify for the Season Pot, that money rolls over to the next Season Pot.
If the Renegade’s placement points would place them in 3rd Place or below in the rankings, they are considered as being in 2nd place instead.
The Event Pot is distributed as normal.
